Coming Home

Remember the post where Chelsea talked about the MTC trying to kill her? She got a concussion during her last week in the MTC that isn't healing and will be returning home tonight to get the rest she needs to recover. Our parents will be taking her to see a neurologist. We are hopeful that she recovers quickly. In the mean time, please keep her in your thoughts as prayers. Thanks for reading her updates!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Hello everyone! This week has been great! We've been working with a lot of less actives this week and we have been able to see their faith grow little by little. We even saw one family at church yesterday! It was amazing! They loved it. They even invited us over fr Thanksgiving even though we already have plans. We told them we would "stop by" haha! Then we taught a lesson to an investigator about the Book of Mormon. She has been struggling with reading it because she thinks she only needs the Bible. By the end of the lesson she said she was about to tell us that she doesn't want to meet anymore but she said there was a small itch in her brain telling her to keep reading the Book of Mormon! I'm so thankful the Holy Ghost was able to tell her to keep reading otherwise she would've dropped us!  On Tuesday  we had District meeting and we set a goal as a district to get 6 new investigators this week. Week 5

Hello everyone! This week has been amazing! It started last Monday night. We were able to meet with a less active and convinced him to come to church! He has faith, he just needs to put it into action. This less active lives in a member of the wards home Brother Link because Brother Link rents out his house and once we were done talking to the less active, Brother Link introduced us to a girl named Lily Hope who is 17 and she is really interested in the church! We are trying to set up a time to meet with her but she is currently already planning on coming to church next week! Then  on Tuesday  is when we fasted. This transfer our mission has a goal of bringing 36 investigators to baptism and President Rasmussen thought we should all fast for this goal so the different areas of our mission have had separate days to fast and ours was  on Tuesday ! First Week

Chelsea is doing great! Turns out she'll be in the MTC for 3 weeks instead of two, like we originally thought. Here's her first email, and some pictures. Her P-day (preperation day)? is on Tuesdays so you can expect an update every Tuesday or Wednesday from here on out. Enjoy! "This week has been great!! The days are really long so it feels like I've been here for a month. The spirit is so strong here too. I'm definitely not the same person I was a week ago. I've learned so much over the past few days. I have the best teachers too. They are so amazing. My district is amazing too! We all get along so well which is definitely a blessing. Our district likes to laugh a lot too which can be a distraction at times, but I think we all need the laughter.
