Happy Thanksgiving!

Hello everyone!

This week has been great! We've been working with a lot of less actives this week and we have been able to see their faith grow little by little. We even saw one family at church yesterday! It was amazing! They loved it. They even invited us over fr Thanksgiving even though we already have plans. We told them we would "stop by" haha! Then we taught a lesson to an investigator about the Book of Mormon. She has been struggling with reading it because she thinks she only needs the Bible. By the end of the lesson she said she was about to tell us that she doesn't want to meet anymore but she said there was a small itch in her brain telling her to keep reading the Book of Mormon! I'm so thankful the Holy Ghost was able to tell her to keep reading otherwise she would've dropped us! On Tuesday we had District meeting and we set a goal as a district to get 6 new investigators this week. During the week we hadn't received a single new investigator. Until yesterday. Sunday truly is a day of miracles. During church our district leader texted us and told us they found a family of 4 to teach so now we have 4 new investigators! Then after dinner they texted us again and said someone found a family of 3 to teach so now we have 7 new investigators! But that's not all! At the end of the nigh they texted us again and said someone found another investigator to teach and they are already on date for baptism! So many miracles in one day! It was incredible! We also had our mission devotional which is where new converts and some of the missionaries all give their testimonies. It was really cool to hear all of these conversion stories. I love converts. Their faith is so strong! Saturday was really interesting because we had the cops called on us! We were just sitting in our car texting all our less actives to come to church the next day. Apparently we looked suspicious though. We were even parked at a members house so that wouldn't happen! The police officer was really nice though. He recognized that we were from the church. That's about all for this week! I hope you all have an amazing Thanksgiving! I know that if you look for miracles in your life you will find them! God has given us so much to be grateful for!

Remember the post where Chelsea talked about the MTC trying to kill her? She got a concussion during her last week in the MTC that isn't healing and will be returning home tonight to get the rest she needs to recover. Our parents will be taking her to see a neurologist. Hello everyone! This week has been amazing! It started last Monday night. We were able to meet with a less active and convinced him to come to church! He has faith, he just needs to put it into action. This less active lives in a member of the wards home Brother Link because Brother Link rents out his house and once we were done talking to the less active, Brother Link introduced us to a girl named Lily Hope who is 17 and she is really interested in the church! We are trying to set up a time to meet with her but she is currently already planning on coming to church next week! Then  on Tuesday  is when we fasted. This transfer our mission has a goal of bringing 36 investigators to baptism and President Rasmussen thought we should all fast for this goal so the different areas of our mission have had separate days to fast and ours was  on Tuesday !
