Week 2 in WA
Sister Matthews had a harder week and has been some of the side effects of her concussion. She remains optimistic though, and says that being in a threesome is like a party everyday! Here's what else she has to say:
Hello everyone!
There hasn't been much progress this week. Every time we plan to see someone they're not home! Not a single person has opened their door to us this week! Even when we have appointments with them. We've been meeting with a lot of members this week instead and they've been giving us a lot of referrals so hopefully there will be more progress there. We've been meeting with a couple less actives this week which has been amazing. I think one of them got me sick! She has been trying to get over strep throat and when we were meeting with her I just started coughing out of nowhere! So this week my voice has been gone which has been a challenge. I don't think It'll progress into strep though. I'm already recovering. I can definitely see the hand of the Lord guiding me this week! Even though all of our appointments have fallen through we always meet someone on their street who is willing to hear our message! The Spirit definitely guided us to those streets even though we didn't go for our intended purpose. Washington has been beautiful! It's been pretty cloudy lately but the landscape is beautiful! I'm still amazed at how tall the trees are! I love the drive we take to go back to our apartment. It's so scenic! This week we had dinner with the Barkers. They're the family we're living with. They're food was so good we came back the next night for leftovers! brother Barker used to be a pilot. I think you would like him dad. I'm so thankful for the hand of the Lord in my life! He has given me so much to be thankful for! I know that if you look for blessings in your life you will find them! Even if they're small. I love you all!
Sincerely,
Sister Matthews
