Not All Who Wander Are Lost

Sorry I'm behind on this! Here are Chelsea's two most recent emails. She leaves for Washington tomorrow, and felt like the MTC was trying to kill her... Read on to find out more!! Week two email: Hello everyone! This week has been absolutely amazing! Everyday we have 3 hour classes in the morning and 3 hour classes at night. I'm learning so much everyday! We also have 2 investigators to teach during the day called TRC's. We were just starting to get to know our first ones when they gave us new ones this week! Even though they lengthened our teaching time to 45 minutes this week it flies by so fast! Our first lesson with out new investigator was on the Law of Chastity so that was interesting. My companion and I already know our second one is a member just pretending to be an investigator because one of the Elders in our district knows her so he ruined the surprise for us. I was so mad at him! I wanted it to feel real but I couldn't stop thinking about how she...

Chelsea is doing great! Turns out she'll be in the MTC for 3 weeks instead of two, like we originally thought. Here's her first email, and some pictures. The days are really long so it feels like I've been here for a month. The spirit is so strong here too. I'm definitely not the same person I was a week ago. I've learned so much over the past few days. I have the best teachers too. They are so amazing. My district is amazing too! We all get along so well which is definitely a blessing. Our district likes to laugh a lot too which can be a distraction at times, but I think we all need the laughter. Hello everyone! My name is Tiffany, and I am Chelsea's slightly shorter, much more brunette and a little bit older sister. I am in charge of all of Chelsea's social media accounts over the next 18 months. This blog is where I will post her weekly emails, and pictures for anyone that wants to read them. For anyone that doesn't know, Chelsea has chosen to serve a religious mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She has accepted the call to serve in the Washington state, Federal Way mission, speaking english. What this means is that for the next 18 months, she will be serving the people of Washington by teaching them about Christ and the Book of Mormon. The people of Washington are lucky to have her. Chelsea is taking time off of school, dance and work to pursue this passion of hers, and I wish her the best of luck!
